How to change icon of USB drive?

Today I want to share trick related to USB.

This trick is all about How to change icon of USB drive.this is something by which you can show your friends your own creation of icon on USB drive. It is not waste of time..it is all about uniqueness.

There are two ways to change the Icon of USB drive.

The First and very simple way:

USING SOFTWARE

Simply Follow the steps :

Step 1)

There are many software for Changing Icon of USB.One of them is Drive Icon changer.Download it from here.

Step 2)

Run that software with Admin rights. By right click on it and select  ”Run as administrator“ option.

Step 3)

Now As shown in Image
Select the Desired Drive and then click on “Select Drive“.

Also select Desired Icon By clicking on “Select Desired Icon” .

Step 4)

Restart your Computer.

WITHOUT ANY SOFTWARE

Steps are:

Step 1)

First of all select .ico icon Image File which you want to be the icon of your USB. Copy it to your USB drive.

Step 2)

Copy the Path of that .ico Image file.

Step 3)

Now Open Notepad and type

[autorun] 
ICON=[path of your icon]

Step 3)

Save the File as autorun.inf

Make Sure the file type is “all file type”. It should not create autorun.inf.txt

Step 4)

Restart your computer.
Done!!
